water heater pilot jet

I put a new gas valve in my water heater but now the pilot won'tlight.I must have gotten some crud in the jet when I had the linesdisconnected.I have a set of small drills for cleaning welding torch tips butbefore I go drilling into the jet I'm wondering if any of you knowwhat size the hole in the pilot light jet for a natural gas waterheater is?Engineman
