Model Engineer magazine - gone?

To bring this back onto subject, Highbury House Communications PLC was placed into administration last Thursday evening. On Friday morning a buyer was announced for the assets of the Bournemouth based division (Highbury Entertainment) and the Orpington based division (Highbury Nexus Special Interest Ltd) with the Lifestyle division being the sole remaining asset of the company.

More news will no doubt follow...

Does anyone know if the 20th Jan 2006 issue of Model Engineer was published? I was lucky, my subscrition ended with the previous issue, which I received. Just wanted to check to see what I might be missing from my collection.

Yes, my wife got it for me from WHS this week. Interesting article about a IC engine auction and the usual mix of Locomotive subjects and an Index for Vol 195.

I received my subscription copy of ME yesterday (26/1/06) as normal, and enclosed was the following information sheet from Encanta which I reproduce in full as it contains useful address and phone numbers:

Thanks for the information Brian. I wonder if they will send the same information to lapsed subscribers. Potentially 1/12 of their readership took fright at the share suspension and did not renew.
