I need to design a hinge feature into a plastic part. The part will be moulded flat and the hinge will be a thin section of plastic between the two halves - the sort of thing you find on bottle tops and enclosures with lids.
does anyone know of a free internet guide that discusses recommended cross sections (for strength and reliability), I've seen similar guides for clip features published by toolmakers and plastics material distributors.
