I would like to know your opinion about robotics research in the US versus in Europe (France, Germany) and whether does it make sense to go to a French university to study robotics as against university of michigan, ann arbor.
I would like to know if anyone of you have heard of the LAAS research lab

in Toulouse (next to INSA Toulouse university), and do you think that's a good place for further robotics study/research in controls/automation.
