There used to be an rmr regular, Helen, who flew out of the University of Hawaii. Until your post I didn't realize she's been absent from rmr for many years now.

We used to enjoy her posting launch reports when we were buried under snow and ice in the winter here on the mainland.

I think one of the things I always noticed was that it was always 80-84 degrees whenever they flew, no matter what season we were in.
