Painting the Eduard Mk 1 Airacobra in British colors. Directions call for the bottom to be Medium Sea Grey. Gunze Gangyo 335 (Medium Sea Grey) is way too dark. Anyone have a hint for a better match using Gunze or Tamiya acrylics?
As a trade I'll tell that I found a good match for the interior "Bell Green" to be a mix of 50% Gunze 302 and 50% Gunze 312.

Is there a Gunze paint for FS36270 Neutral Grey? That should do admirably. The colour difference between Medium Sea Grey and Neutral Grey is so small that you could consider any differences to be fading. I regularly use Neutral Grey on random panels on the undersurfaces of British fighters.
Also, be aware that Medium Sea Grey *is* actually quite dark. It was also used as an overall uppersurface colour on high altitude aircraft and with Dark Green in a disruptive pattern on night fighters and intruder aircraft.
