Gents, A question for the armour dudes. I'm in the middle of converting an old Tamiya track into the Aussie FSV with the Saladin turret. It was mean to be a quick and nasty conversion, but it's grown like Topsy and is now threatening to turn into a major manifestation of AMS(!). I've bought the reference books and stuff and now I'm looking for etch. The turret loops are easy (wire in drilled holes), but the standard 113 hull loops are welded rods with flat ends. Any suggestions as to a good (read as *cheap*!) etched set for these? Most of the other details are easy to do with card, rod and tube, but these have me stuffed.
