Evo Design LLC is looking for a Mechanical Designer with proficiency in Solidworks (2001 and up) to fill a short term need (1-3 weeks initially, but could go longer).
Position is in-house in Watertown, CT so a local candidate is required. Off site could work if the candidate can come in for a portion of time to be fully breifed on the requirements and details, however back and forth interaction is going to be required.
The tasks involve making engineering changes to existing assemblies to prepare them for the next round of prototyping. You should have experience working with sheet metal, CNC and plastics parts as you will be modeling components under direction of in house engineers, and then creating the necessary documentation to support fabrication. Some independant design work may be required.
