Primary Skills
- Experiance in machine design, hydraulic/pneumatic design, materials science, manufacturing processes, 3D-CAD, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, and quality assurance.
- Experience using the computer-aided design tools, such as SolidWorks 2007 or later,AutoCAD etc.
- Experience in cabinet layout diagrams with sound power and signal cable wiring fundamentals.
- Must be detail orientated (e.g. creating designs/drawings that are accurate/complete).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Secondary Skills (Nice To Have) :
- Strong interpersonal skills, such as ability to cooperate with management and peers, both with internal staff and with other outside entities.
- CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) is preferred
- Proficient in working with complex assemblies and multiple configurations.
- Proficient in working with Agile Product Lifecycle Management
- Knowledge of and familiarity with U.S. industry international standards (e.g. ASTM, SAE, ASME, ANSI, DIN, ISO, AWS, MIL Specs, etc..) preferred
- Excellent work ethic which translates to working the required hours in order to ensure a quality design and completion of the task/project on schedule.
