Wanted ... Licensed ver. 2003 !!

I have been fooling around with a bogus version for the last month trying to figure it out ... & I seem to have fallen in Love with it compared to 2D AutoCad !!!

I want to a purchase legal version to use commercially. I know it costs megga $$$ .. but still willing to purchase ..

Any suggestions on who are the best resellers, and is the office pro worth its price compared to the reg office version .. how much extra for the FEA add-ons .. ???

I would like to be prepared with some knowledge when i walk into the local reseller with my wad of $$$.

What should a prospective buyer be looking at to shave a few $$ from the reseller ..

any suggestions would be appreciated .. I live in Western Canada ..

CAE Northwest is a very good VAR. I know they sell in B.C., but I don't how far East their territory extends.

and is the office pro worth its

Depends on what you need. As I recall, Office Pro adds PDM/Works. If you want a relatively simple PDM system, then it's probably a good idea. Depending on what you do, Office may be either a very good idea or a very big waste of money.

CosmosXpress is free, but quite limited. CosmosWorks is more than SW. More capable Cosmos programs cost quite a bit more again. If we buy an FEA program, we're probably going to go with ANSYS. Others in the group have recommended NE/Nastran.

When we bought our seats, the resellers didn't seem to bargain on the price of the SW software. They seemed to be willing to deal on training.
