I've just bought a digital starter set with a Mobile Station and a 18VA transformer. I have a 6647 transformer which is 32VA and AC. I asked the salesman if I could use the 6647 to power the digital circuit with the Mobile Station and he said yes. I was about to adapt a cable to connect the 6647 to the connector box when I noticed that the 18VA transformer is DC and the 6647 is AC!!
As anyone tried connecting the 6647 directly to the connector box?
Do I need a diode bridge with capacitor?
