I am making preparations to scratchbuild a replica of the Huddleston Store in PIne Ridge Arkansas, and thought the best thing to do was come here and ask if there are any web pages with good hints, tips, etc. about scratchbuilding structures. I'll be working primarily in wood, in 1/24 scale, and the building will have an interior so the roof will have to be removable.
Also, has anyone dealt with spjrr.com? How are they as a company, how is the quality of their wood? I sent them an email the other day about ordering stuff but got no reply... hopefully they are just on vacation but I am starting to worry.
