Can an old needle-arc PAW machine be used for TIG?

Can I attach a TIG torch to a PAW machine? Or is the electrical output entirely different? The machine in question goes up to 100 amps and has the usual controls for gases and cooling.

Also, would the arc be stable enough for TIG at low low amp settings, like 5amps or lower?

One more question - Are there any sources for new PAW torches these days? A google search turns up jack, except some legacy parts for maintance. Some old cranky-looking one now and then on ebay too, but I'm hoping for something more modern.

Regards.

I don't believe it would be very usable to convert a plasma welder to a TIG.

Parts are pretty easy to get if you have a newer torch.

Thermal Arc and ProFusion both sell Plasma welder torch parts.
