Making money by welding

Bought a 3x6 ft welded steel work table at an auction for $5. Welded on four 650 lbs casters ($20) in about 10 minutes. Advertised as "work/welding table on casters". It is actually nice and can be used for storing a lot of stuff on the bottom shelf in addition to working on the table top. A big plus is that it can be moved around loaded. Sold for $110 on eBay via Buy It Now in 12 hours. Customer comes in with a Suburban. Table does not fit into the Suburban. I have to grind off the welds and remove the casters. Buyer finally pushes the now casterless table into the Suburban.

So, in a way, this was first money made by welding, though the customer received the item as if it was never welded.

Iggy, you screwed up. Your supposed to offer delivery services (time and fuel) for the customers lack of for sight to bring a suitable transport vehicle. Why else did you weld together a trailer?

Good first try.

The real irony is that the customer had a trailer, he just did not think of bringing it along. Prior to him coming, I spoke to him on the phone, thought to ask him if he has a trailer, and did not.
