I need to weld 18 ga. stainless tubing. What is the best gas mixture for me to use. I am thinking 98%Argon 2% CO2 mix, but have been told to use 100% Argon. If I use the 98% Argon 2% CO2 would it not be a little hotter?

use 98% argon / 2% hydrogen.

100% argon will also suffice.
