Tig welding w/ stainlees electrodes

Has anyone worked with a Stainless filler electrode in TIG welding that does not require a purge or Solar type flux applied to the inside area?

The welds are being made to 2" boiler tubes.

The back purging has nothing to do with the filler metal. It has to do with the reaction of hot stainless steel to air.

The only way to avoid back purging is to TIG braze-weld instead of TIG weld. Brazing uses less heat so the stainless shouldn't scorch.
