I probably should have put more smiley faces and assorted emoticons in the message, I keep forgetting people can't see my grin whilst I type.

Apples to apples, two aircraft of different weight make a standard rate turn at the same airspeed. Both take exactly the same time to do the turn.

Next two identical planes of different weight turn as tightly as they can, the plane with the lower wingloading will turn sharper before stalling.

As I never pylon race, it is all moot to me. Under normal conditions, the frog ain't deaf, he just feels footloose :>) :>) :>)

This is only true IF the pilot of the heavy plane put in more power to keep his speed up. If more power isn't an option, then he will NOT come out at the same time, since the extra drag he is creating will slow him down more. Which was kinda the whole point of this silly discussion. At least I think it was. I can't remember for sure anymore.

When I stated the same airspeed, it was implied that he may have to roll the windows back up or whatever so that he can maintain airspeed.

Truthfully, I almost lost a good friend because of this same reason and thought I'd learned this lesson. Guess I needed a reminder. Despite the wealth of knowledge shared on this group alone, this emotionless stage we use sure has it's short comings on the interpersonal level.

BTW, the frog's hired a lawyer and suing for artificial limbs now. My lawyer says it's a frivolous lawsuit because he doesn't have a leg to stand on. :o)
