Back in the fifties I had a Little Stinker gasoline powered biplane. Might have been made by Cox. It made only two flights. Straight up and straight back down.

My Google searching has not been too fruitful.

Are these things still out there somewhere? Would like to get one for nostalgic purposes.

Every now and then they appear on eBay. Depending on condition they can fetch up to $400 (NIB and excellent condition). Good luck to you.

Thanks. Checked as you suggested. There is one on Ebay right now. Price is up to $100 after only a few bids.

The "Little Stinker" was the name Betty Skelton gave her Pitts Special which she used to capture the womens aerobatic championship. I built a control-line model kit of it back in the early 50's. Cox's planes weremuch smaller and did not fly well - were badly underpowered.

My Cox Lil' Stinker was my first and only powered model experience. As stated earlier the experience was short lived. I might have been 11 years old or so at the time. It was a Christmas gift.
