If you're planning to fly in calm conditions, you cant beat the Parkzone Vapor! It'll fly 20 minutes on a charge, and comes in either RTF or "Bind and Fly" versions. The BNF will bind to a JR 2.4G, or a Spektrum DSM2(basically anything but a Spektrum DX 6).
It's a blast to fly, you can spend the whole flight knee high, or catch thermals over a hot roof. It'll also fly in a garage, basement, or big living room.
