Horty,
You should enter 500mAh as the capacity for the pack. When you connect cells in series, the total pack has the same capacity as a single cell.
On the Intelli-control this setting really only has meaning for NiMH cells. The charger will stop when it reaches 110% of this value, so if you set it to 500mAh NiMH, it will stop charging when 550mAh has been put into the pack. Sort of a safety feature.
