- The TI TIL-311 is a Hexadecimal Dot Matrix Display with integral TTL driver electronics to accept, store & display 4-bit binary data, Epoxy package (Note: This part wholesales at about $16.50 each)

4 pieces of DIS1417 @ $7.00 each (US Funds)

- The TI DIS-1417 is a House Number version of the TIL311 with extended temperature range we are told. Otherwise the specs. are the same.

Why should I be paying 6 dollars for a probably used LCD display?And $215 for the whole lot?With 6 euro I get a pack of 10 cd blanks.With 200 euro I get doom 3 256 MB more of memory and cruise control.And I don't need 'em;I don't build things that need LCD displays.And I don't like things that have LCD displays;yesterday I got a good, old analog multimeter for 9 euro (less prone to go insane as digitals do).Have you ever tried measure a leaking resistance (in the range of kohms) with a digital?Never stabilizing to a certain number.
