Do any through-hole digital to analog and analog to digital ICs exist? If so does anybody have some reccomendations on some.
If you don't know of through-hole packages (DIP preferably), then what are some good surface mount components that do the same thing.
Perhaps I can clarify more. I want to convert a digital signal (from a microcontroller) to an analog signal and see how the integrity (accuracy can be supplemented here I suppose) is affected. Just a random project I'd like to embark on, so any help is appreciated!
