Joseph Slepian essays

For readers of this group with access to a really good EE library, let me
suggest some fun reading.
Joseph Slepian circa 1950s wrote a series of electrical essays published in
Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineering was to the AIEE, now merged
into IEEE< something like Spectrum now is to IEEE. These were little puzzles
to put hot shot EEs into there place by questioning their knowledge in
various situations where things were not like the appeared to be.
If you want additional reading of this nature, Slepian also wrote several
papers on how tensors could be applied to the fruit salad business. Don't
laugh yet. Read the papers first. These were published in the Transactions
of the AIEE.
