Hello, all, and a question especially for those who work in AC power distribution:
One is provided with two line-line MV (assume 34/19.9 kV or less) distribution lines (L1, L2) and a neutral (N). IOW, 2 (L1-N & L2-N) phases (e.g. 0 deg & 120 deg) are available sans 3. On the LV side we need a 4-wire wye (L1-N, L2-N & L3-N) that would provide, say, a 120/208 volt 3-phase service. What is the minimum number of off-the-shelf step-down transformers (assume appropriate kVA ratings) that would be needed to accomplish this and how would the secondaries be interconnected? Thanks for your time and comment. Sincerely,
