where should we locate pt100 in motors?

If you are rewinding the motor, they should be placed in the slots, between windings to give you an indication of hottest spot. A standard configuration is 6 evenly spaced. one in each bearing is good to, but make sure it is tip sensitive.
If the motor is not being rewound, securing to an end turn is an acceptable, but less desireable.
