Experimental method:
- Weigh yourself carefully
- Mark a piece of this pipe with a felt pen at 1 cm intervals, or closer if you need better accuracy than that.
- Clamp a piece of this pipe to the handrail of the nearest large bridge, facing outward.
- Noting where your centre of mass is, walk out along the pipe until it buckles.
- On the way down, reflect on the value of doing your own homework.
