Dear all,
I am using FEM to simulate the 3D crack analysis. Assume that I already calcuated Stress Intensity Factor (SIF) for one crack front line, and given the maximum extension for the next step, how I can find out the crack propagation direction of each point in the current crack front line???
Pls. tell me which paper, or any source, I can find it out. I know there are a bunch of different theory to figure out the propagation direction.
