ANSYS - problems with convergence

How to tune the solver properly? i'am bending a 9meter long pipe which is fixed on the one of the ends iam using a displacment boundary condition i want to make a displacment of the end would be like 4-5 meters i have some convergence problems sollution is not converged i made about 30 Load steps but.... the best resault is about for w(x=9)=1.7 meter

///| ///|********************************************| ///| | displacment 4-5 meters ///| \/

All analisys options are set to default exept displacments i turned on large static displacments material is bilinear steel Has anybody solved such a problem

The solver is probably trying to tell you that the pipe breaks, long before you can displace its end laterally by half its original length.
