Could anyone recommend a volume which illustrates the processes involved in creating a custom threadform thread? Specifically I am trying to create a combination between a buttress thread, with a nearly perpendicular flank angle, and an acme thread. There must be some reference material out there as to how the different tollerances and allowances have been determined over the years. The different handbooks i have looked at have formulations for some standard v-threads. I need to know how those formulations have been created.
