Im having problem with modeling the interface between two 2 geometries and how to do it on Ansys. My model is a 2D circle surrounded (with no gap) by a 2D ring. The boundary condition is free-slip contact that allow seperation, while compressive and shear forces can be transmitted between circle and the ring (with and without friction). I have tried doing contact tutorial but was unsucessful to implement it to my model. What type of element for this type of contact? What kind of parameters that need to be defined? and how do I do this on Ansys
