Accuracy issues aside (in the case of linear elastic analyses)...

Why would one use Tet vs Hex elements?

Contact? Non-linear?

I second Gordon's comment on ease of automatic generation with a HUGE exclamation mark!!!! Hex's are great for accuracy, but wow, they are horrible for complex geometry. You can mesh almost anything with tet's.
