There's an ASTM method for testing refractory brick for resistance to corrosion by molten slag, ASTM C 874, but the ASTM website doesn't have a list of people that can run it (zero results). Does anyone have any suggestions?
You might try the Ceramic department at the University of Missouri - Rolla. There are other schools out there. You might also check out
You might also call any of the refractory companies (Christy, Morco, etc.)
