According to their website, this firm was established in 1854. In their earlier years they apparently made some sawmill machinery. They are still in business today, although their sawmill machinery is long in their past. They now specialize in hydraulic presses. They are part of Doerfer Companies.

An 1882 patent for a sawmill edger was assigned to Williams, White & Co. The patent was granted to Alfred Williams, and one of the witnesses was T. H. Williams. In 1887 one James J. Kirby patented a sawmill set-works that was assigned to this maker.

Information Sources An 1877 overhead view of the Williams, White & Co. factory is available online. This firm is listed as a maker of a "boring, drilling, milling machine" during World War II.

I haven't looked to see if this is current. Good luck.
