Two resources I'd check:
Daniel Boone Cycles [near MedCtr] is one of the oldest and helpfulest shops. Some folks there do strange work, too.
Offenhauser on Telephone. They can make anything of metal. Sometimes small jobs, too.

Why bother? I have always found bending handlebars as easy as falling off a bike.
