FedEx does it again . Got the packages today to fix my mill . Only thing is the bag with the bronze bar was empty (I missed the driver when it was dropped off) ... had a hole rubbed in the corner through which my piece of bronze stock escaped . So I called FedEx and once I finally got to speak with a CS body I was told by a dude that had an Indian accent so thick he was all but impossible to understand that the vendor has to initiate the claim . My wife said I had tendrils of smoke coming out my ears ... On my 3rd attempt I finally got to speak with a guy at Zoro customer service and in under 2 minutes I have a replacement on the way . I have only good things to say about Zoro . They're not the cheapest but they sell stock in smaller sizes that small operations like mine can get without a lot of unneeded leftovers . I'll be buying from them again .
Boy was I pissed !

Its a shame vendors have to make up for carriers. Zoro is not my favorite vendor, but its nice to hear it sounds like they will try to take care of you.
While not often best price McMaster is my vendor of choice for service and quality. I've had carriers do some crappy stuff, and McMaster always takes care of me. Even on the rare occasions when McMaster messes up they take care of me instantly. I place several orders a month, but they are small so I doubt its about keeping my business. Maybe its because they know I am a loud mouth on social media. LOL. Nah, I think they just take good care of everybody.
