For those of you in Austin, TX (or who are looking for an excuse to visit):
This is a reminder that the 4th annual East Austin Studio Tour is coming up
11/19-20/05. This is a weekend event where close to 80 artists open their studios to visitors to look at their work and work places. Very relaxed and informal, free, and a great way to share info on everything from artistic philosophy to sources for materials.
I really enjoyed going around to all the studios and highly recommend it...
