Unless you happen to be living in Canada, where temperature compensated pumps are already in use.

There are now numerous US State agfencies mulling over making temperature compensation of gas pumps mandatory.

But, the outside temperature doesn't have much to do with the temperature of the gas in the typical service station's underground tanks anyway, so basing your purchases on the time of day doesn't mean squat anyway.
