Looking for a water pump for mister system

"gmh" ??? I certainly wouldn't think you need 1000 psi for a mister!!!!!! I think a lot of them (depending on mfg and nozzles, etc) work on about 30 or 40 psi. Ken.

Pressure can atomize water to make mist, as in airless sprayers, but it isn't the only way to get it done.

You might have a look at HVLP sprayguns, available very inexpensively from Harbor Freight.

What are you trying to mist? If its for cooling cutting tools..a simple syphon using shop air is the most common

The "good" ones... commercial CoolMist systems run at up to 1500psi.

im building a fogger for my fan at work, the low pressure mister nozzles 60 psi get the area wet where as the high pressure fog uses like .2 gph where the low pressure used 1 gph, so if you have 6 nozzles going it makes a mess. thanks tony

Actually..I do pretty much the same using the Trico mister and a home brew squrral cage fan out in the shop. Works fairly well At 40 psi
