Last night , after beginning re-assembly of my truck motor* , I welded up the rusted-in-place smog pump fitting on the left exhaust manifold . Today , I'll be fabricating a plate to block off the egr hole in the intake . Most of the emissions stuff on this truck was disabled/disconnected/broken long before I got it , and I haven't a clue where the pieces went .
