Whirlwind surgical pump 1930’s

I have a surgical pump. It has an oiler container with a wick. The motor is froze from none operation some 70 years ago. The booklet says if motor is froze pull gauge and pour table spoon of kerosene down while it’s laying on it side to prevent it from goin into the muffler. My question. It makes mention of using #10 or #20 motor oil for the pump. What is a suitable type oil that’s available now days. The container with the wick says oiler on the diagram. Never seen a wick on a pump motor before. It shows the wick in the container. This device also has a trap in the storage cabinet I will clean.

They may still be made, called "Whirlwind Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump". If so, there should be good data available.
