Bridgeport series 1 with Heidenhain DRO

When switching from metric to imperial, all that happens is the decimalpoint moves over 1. Movement of a slide is still metric? To clarify... movehandle on table so dial moves between divisions, .020 mm I think. DRO givesthe same in metric, but 0.20 in imperial?Am I going mad ???Bob
