Change Wheels for precision lathes?

I've just been given a stack of 31 brass gear wheels, with every one from 120 teeth at about 3.5 cms to 150 teeth at about 4.5 cms diameter.

They're approx 80 or 90 DP.

Each has a line of 3 holes across the middle, presumably for locating and bolting together. There are neither bushes nor collets on the wheels.

There are, in addition, 2 further wheels with 141 teeth and a pinion of about 38 teeth.

Can anyone identify? Change wheels for a precision lathe, perhaps?

Steel, pot metal and nylon for change gears. There have been a lot of brass gears used in industry for instrumentation.
