A 6 tpi bandsaw blade works very well. Bow saw is more work. Brother in law uses a chainsaw, but he does it for a living :-)

I guess with a chainsaw you can cut slices of frying steak & make mince at the same time...

I hope he's fussy about the chain oil that he uses !

AWEM (who has a pig to butcher next week - but that won't be frozen - it'll be warm from the abattoir )
