Does anybody where I can obtain Brass/Plastic/ Metal 3 & 4 mm letters or preferably available in imperial sizes

Model railway kit/accessory manufacturers do these. ISTR that Ratio, for example, do plastic ones in various sizes, and I have seen mention of brass ones but can't remember the names (or sizes).
Alternatively, etch them yourself.
