Plastic strip required

Does anyone know where I can obtain some plastic strip, something between 1 and 2 mm thick, and 40 mm wide, and a reasonable length (preferably in multiples of 350 mm.)?

I am absolutely fed up with trying to cut stuff to this specification out of 1200 x 600 x 2 mm. plastic sheet.

You can get stuff like this in B&Q in Bristol. They have a section which contains plastic and metal angle as well as brass tube and plastic strip in various sizes. (I can't be absolutely sure about 40mm wide without going down there with a ruler and measuring it, but it's got to be worth a look) (working in 2mm scale, I'm more attracted to the smaller size plastic strip they stock and I have right in front of me a strip of 2mm X 20mm X 1mtr which cost a couple of quid. As I say, that was the small stuff.)

If ABS/Perspex is OK have you tried the scoring and snapping technique with Stanley hooked blades?

I thought if you needed a couple of dozen I could help out, but thats a big amount. You could do with finding someone locally who has a guillotine. You could try your local school CDT dept.
