Machine sounds

Found this on another forum and thought it was amusing, then again it doesn't take much to amuse me.

The French Renault formula 1 team can make machines sing too. About 20 seconds into this video this formula 1 car engine starts singing due to the programming of the digital engine control.

Probably could if I wasn't half deaf and had a classical education instead of one at a school approved by H M Government.

Did see a big machining center at the NEC that was playing a tune given different moves.

There used to be one similar to that in the HV test lab at CERL, Leatherhead - 25 odd years ago so it's probably gone now and been replaced with a Chinese facsimile having shipped the original to Guanzhou for £100. Weren't allowed to 'play' like that obviously, but the principle was the same - it was used an observers protective cage on occasion.
