Machine sounds

Found this on another forum and thought it was amusing, then again it doesn't take much to amuse me.

The French Renault formula 1 team can make machines sing too. About 20 seconds into this video this formula 1 car engine starts singing due to the programming of the digital engine control.

Can you make your CNC sing too?

Probably could if I wasn't half deaf and had a classical education instead of one at a school approved by H M Government.

Did see a big machining center at the NEC that was playing a tune given different moves.

Never mind the signing tesla , take a look at the "associated cage of death video" -

and the Oklahoma big Tesla coil Just the job to keep next door's cat and elf 'n' safety inspectors from John's place!

Some of the other gadgets have better sound.

There used to be one similar to that in the HV test lab at CERL, Leatherhead - 25 odd years ago so it's probably gone now and been replaced with a Chinese facsimile having shipped the original to Guanzhou for £100. Weren't allowed to 'play' like that obviously, but the principle was the same - it was used an observers protective cage on occasion.
