I have this VDFlathe it is a V 1 Boeringer, quite old but in good nick.However I do not understand the purpose of the gear/s with the numbers on it. The lathe can cut Metric, Imperial and Modular threads it has a 8tpi leadscrew.Here is a link to a photo of the gear/s
