PAN supplier

Dear all,

I am looking for a supplier of PAN (polyacrylonitrile) polymer. Hoechst had it in the past, but I am unable to find any data anymore. Furthermore I noticed BP Amoco has a type of PAN called BAREX, this might do my job but is contains some rubber for extrusion purposes. So perhaps I might need another PAN which is more pure. Does anyone have a name/address for me?

I think Barex is a styrene copolymer. Only pure ANP I knew about was one grade of DuPont Orlon. Most ANP polymers are copolymers. For R&D purposes you can buy polymer from Aldrich although it is pricey. Frank
