I brought some "Faber-Castell" drawing template, but i have big trouble that the plastic template release very strong smelly odour. Hence causes embarrassment to the staff in the office.What went wrong on this plastic material ? How to get rid of this unpleasant odour ? can any person help. Thanks.

What usually smells in a plastic are residual monomers or plasticizers, all of which diminish with time. Polymers themselves are odorless. Frank
