I am looking for more information on an oldie. Here is what I recall:
In the 1980s, a robot named Harvey Wallbanger competed in the IEEE Micro Mouse contest. It used the left-hand rule (or the right-hand rule) to solve the maze. I am foggy on this, but I think that it took first place.
Can anyone supply me with a few more details? Namely, what year was this in? Did the robot actually score a first place win? Who built the robot? Are there any photographs of it?
Any and all details appreciated. I am worn out from Googling.
